Arshak Karapetyan has been appointed Armenia’s Defense Minister.
A relevant decree has been signed by President Armen Sarkissian.
Karapetyan was appointed First Deputy Minister of Defense last month.
Before the appointment he served as Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
