Covid-19: Armenia reports 544 new cases, 243 recoveries

Armenia has reported 544 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 18,033.

The results of 1,500 tests have been negative.

According to the data of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 243 patients have recovered, bringing the total to 6,814.

Nine patients have died in the past 24 hours. The death toll has reached 302, another 99 patients with coronavirus have died because of other diseases.

The number of active cases is 10,818.

Armenia coronavirus infections, death toll continue to rise

PanARMENIAN.Net – The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 544 to reach 18,033 on Wednesday, June 17 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 243 more people have recovered, nine patients have died from Covid-19, while three others carrying the virus have died from other causes.

87,600 tests have been performed since the beginning of the outbreak in the country, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

PAP leader warns about upcoming food crisis in the country

Today the economy has been ruined, Prosperous Armenia party leader Gagik Tsarukyan said at the NA today, adding that the country will face famine in three months and no one could do anything to get out of the situation.

Turkey has a plan for the invasion of Greece codenamed after an 11th century Turkish military commander who ruled an independent state during the Byzantine era, secret documents have revealed.

According to a Power Point presentation prepared by the General Staff for an internal planning review, Turkey drew up a plan for a secret military operation named “TSK Çakabey Harekât Planlama Direktifi” (TSK [Turkish Armed Forces] Çakabey Operation Planning Directive). The document has a date of June 13, 2014, suggesting that it was most likely updated and finalized on that date after a review of an earlier version and is presumably still active.

Armenia's Central Bank reduces refinancing rate by 0.5%, sets it at 4.5%
