Artsakh authorities will continue to seek international recognition of the country’s independence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on the 30th anniversary of proclamation of the Artsakh Republic.

Thirty years ago, on September  2, 1991, a joint session of deputies of all levels of the Nagorno Karabagh Autonomous Region and the Shahumyan region proclaimed the Nagorno Karabagh Republic, laying the foundation for the creation of an independent democratic state.

Ambassador Tigran Balayan hosted Lyova Khachatryan, who is participating in the Netherlands’ national selection for Junior Eurovision 2021 and reached the final.

Ambassador Tigran Balayan expressed his support and wished good luck to the boy and members of his group.

In the final round, Lyova will perform the song “A million little things” as part of the “SHiNE” band, which will be broadcasted on September 25 at 20:25 on NPO Zapp TV channel.

The California Democratic Party, at its Executive Board Meeting this weekend, passed by affirmation, a resolution (21-08.014) authored and introduced by DSCC Members and LACDP Elected Members Elen Asatryan and Dr. Suzie Abajian calling on the United States Government to end US aid to Azerbaijan by fully enforcing Section 907 of the Freedom Support Act, Asbarez reports.
