The airline will operate flights between Frankfurt (Germany) and Yerevan three times a week. Flights from Frankfurt to Yerevan will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and from Yerevan to Frankfurt on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

EBRD to launch construction of “Friendship Bridge” between Armenia and Georgia

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is supporting the construction works of the ‘Friendship Bridge’ to improve the cross-border connection between Armenia and Georgia.

Located 60 kilometers from Tbilisi and 200 kilometers from Yerevan, the bridge at the Sadakhlo-Bagratashen checkpoint is the main crossing between Georgia and Armenia.

Representatives of EUROPA NOSTRA and the European Association of Archaeologists have issued an urgent call for a holistic protection of the integrity, authenticity, and diversity of the rich multicultural heritage in and around the area of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The two are large European non-governmental organizations committed to the promotion and protection of cultural heritage that are also active members of the European Heritage Alliance and that collaborate closely with the European Union, the Council of Europe and UNESCO.

France welcomes the release of 15 Armenian POWs

France has welcomed Azerbaijan’s release of 15 Armenian detainees, Armenia’s transmission of minefield maps to Azerbaijan.

“After the one on 11 June, this exchange constitutes an important new gesture to reduce tensions on the ground and help restore confidence between the Parties,” the French Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

France calls for the implementation of the commitments made by the parties on November 9, 2020, including the reestablishment of a substantial dialogue and the release of all Armenian prisoners still held.
