Armenia now has 2,600 beds reserved for Covid-19 treatment

Armenia now has 2,600 beds reserved for coronavirus treatment, Health Minister Arsen Torosyan told a briefing today.

He said 2,300 are regular beds, most of them equipped with oxygen, another 300 are at intensive care units.

Armenia reports 330 new coronavirus cases as 162 recover

PanARMENIAN.Net – The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 330 to reach 28,936 on Monday, July 6 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 162 more people have recovered, seven patients have died from Covid-19, while one person carrying the virus has died from other causes.

123,815 tests have been performed since the beginning of the outbreak in the country, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

AP: Armenian TV stations see politics in police checking masks

The Armenian police showed up on Friday at the offices of two independent TV channels critical towards the government to conduct an audit in case of an alleged violation of the rules introduced amid the COVID-19 pandemic, AP reported.
