
Slovakia, as an EU member state, supports the OSCE Minsk Group and its Co-Chirrs, Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korčok said at a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan.
He recalled the Co-Chairs’ statement of July 29 that reiterates the need for negotiated, comprehensive and sustainable settlement of core and sensitive issues.
“We welcome the recent steps strengthening the confidence-building measures, including the release and return of Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijan,” the Minister said.

French President Emmanuel Macron has posted in Armenian to announce the delivery of the first batch of 25,000 doses of vaccine to Armenia.
“As I promised in August this year, the first batch of 25,000 doses of vaccine will reach our Armenian friends tonight.

PanARMENIAN.Net – The Slovak company Vuye is negotiating with the Armenian side on participating in the modernization of the Metsamor nuclear power plant, Slovakia’s Foreign Minister Ivan Korčok told a press conference with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan on Tuesday, September 14.
According to Korčok, energy is one of the key and promising areas of cooperation between the two countries. Slovakia is also considering the possibility of cooperation in the field of green energy, he added.

France delivers 25,000 dozes of AstraZeneca vaccine to Armenia

The first batch of 25,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID-19 sent by France arrived at the international zvartnots Airport this morning.
Chargé d’affaires of the French Embassy in Armenia, Mr. Christophe Katsahian and representatives of the Armenian Ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs were at the site.
The rest of the deliveries will continue tomorrow and in the weeks to come in coordination with the Armenian authorities.
